The Awesome

• Getting a ShamWOW

The Good

• Driving to my first convention ever and making it there alive!
• Having great roomates who were mindful of each other and paid~ (doorknocker_dog, elf_1half, __kaze__, sleepy_syusuke, rhapsody_in_rue and her boyfriend, and Miranda (our room/line Ninja))
• Cooosplay group with David and Natasha. Pretty much being ourselves.
• Getting a room with a view! FINALLY!
• lololol not standing in line for the masquerade. Panelist FTW!
• Running the panel AniMyu & Prince of Tennis. Learned a lot more like doing a panel a few hours beforehand is not a good idea. I really had no choice and was pretty dead... better next time!
• Haaaaanging out with everyone. Seeing people, even for a brief second, was awesome. I know we were all busy and like "GAH MUST DO THIS"
• Eating meals. Keeping them down was another story, but at least I ate them!
• Arriving home. Guh.
  
  The Bad
• DAT. CON.
• Cosplay? Wut? Did anyone try? This refers to the ones I DIDN'T know. Really, saw no surprises. EXCEPT THAT PETSHOP OF HORRORS DUO. Other than that...
• CosPlot... what. the. fuck. Was there any point to that?
• Vomiting after every meal for two days. Don't know how I did not get dehydrated.
• Elevators! The little shits that thought "lololol LETS PRESS EVERY BUTTON IN THE ELEVATOR." Next year I'm investing in a jet pack or something.
• Taking 16 flights of stairs to get to the room.
• DRIVING HOME FROM DAT CON. Srsly. Rain marking the end of the world? Not fun. GETTING A FLAT TIRE 30 MINUTES FROM HOME? ABOUT TO DIE. Without that random guy who helped us we'd still be in Long Island City.
• Dealers room having like... nothing.
  
  The Ugly
• MASQUERADE! Save for a few skits... what WAS that? This isn't animenext you know! (zing)
• This is my 23rd convention......... AND I GET CONFLU. FIRST EVER. Got a bad cold. Not a happy camper. Not with AnimeNEXT in two weeks D:
  
  The Outcome
• After going to AnimeBoston for 6 years I think it's my time to stop. Unless they get a freakin' amazing guest I just can't push myself to go anymore. I really sat and asked myself; "So why am I going?" I got nothing =/

That kind of sounds like me with Ohayo Con. All of my friends go, but it's just a horrible con ran by a horrible bitch of a con chair. I don't think I can accept my self to go any more and I've been attending it since '02. I hate to give it up, but I would rather try a new con then to suffer and have a miserable time at a shitty con.

Yeahhh, I've been looking at con pictures and reading reports from there, no cosplays, or anything else I saw blew me away or made me go "Why couldn't I go?!". But still, I'm a little jealous. I spent my weekend doing schoolwork and it seemed like EVERYONE ELSE was at a convention! ;_;

Also, doesn't it seem like dealers room/artist alley make or break the con? >w>''

WHAT TWO WEEKS. ANIMENEXT IS IN TWO WEEKS?! THAT MEANS I HAVE ABOUT TWO WEEKS TO GO FOR SCHOOL. I'M FREAKING OUT ;___; I hope I can go to at least a day, I'd really like to. Cons are fun. But it's right in between my finals schedule >_>'

Aw that's too bad! You are totally right about the dealers room. I was looking for 4 things and they didn't have one of them, I usually spend butt loads of money in the dealers room, this year I spent $30.

You go to so many cons! AB is the only one I've ever gone to, I don't even know why I go every year... I stopped liking anime 2 years ago. I didn't even bother going to the masquerade (I went to Bad Anime Bad and from what you say that was probably better) or on Sunday. But I still thought it was better than last year.

Good report and nice pictures. But I'm gonna be a little narcissistic here and say I worked hella hard on my costume XD I think as long as people enjoy themselves it's not a waste, though I definitely agree that most of the masq skits were awful.

Man, I wish I went if only just to see you guys wear your Code Geass stuff! You make SUCH an adorable Cecile! And, lol, you know how I feel about Nina. I love David as Lloyd and Natasha as both Momo/Suzaku. Seriously, I want to play with you guys wearing costumes from those series. BAWWW.

Great photos and I laughed heartily about the cosplay. I looked at photos on ACP and yea, surprisingly a lot less amazing cosplay this year. AND THE SKITS. bahahahaha. I only watched three because friends were in it, but just looking at the series of the others I refrained from touching the play button.
